My name is Iain Campbell, and I am the nursery manager for Wee Gems Corstorphine. I have worked in childcare for 9 years where I began my career as a Playworker in after school clubs. Over the years I worked up the ladder to operations manager. In this time i achieved my SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7. I decided to change my path in the after-school club industry to focus on nursery management. I have so far thoroughly enjoyed my role as a nursery manager, and I am looking forward to where my new journey takes me.

As the Operations Manager, I look after the ‘behind the scenes’ of our branches which includes anything from finding the best resources for the nurseries to the financial side and assisting the branch managers in running their branches. I look forward to the exciting opportunities here at Wee Gems and getting to know all our wonderful families.
My name is Gillian I have been with Wee Gems for 3 years now and absolutely love it! I went back to university and in 2020 after many years out of formal education completed my modules to become a manager. Over the past 3 years I have been given the opportunity to develop and progress in my career and I can’t thank Wee Gems and the families I have met enough. I enjoy working with families as they embark on their Wee Gems journey with their child and share the children’s experiences daily. In years to come I will be thankful that I have an abundance of happy memories from my working life.
Wee Gems has become the West Lothian’s leading and most talked about childcare centre in a very short space of time and we have set totally new standards for our sector.
